Write so both humans and machines can quote you

Most searches today end without a single click. The pages that survive are the quotable ones: every claim fits in one sentence, the answer comes before the argument, and nothing is asserted without proof.

One claim per sentence

Humans skim; machines extract. Both fail on sentences that say three things at once. If a sentence can't be quoted alone, it isn't finished.

Answer first, argument after

State the direct answer in the first two lines, then spend the rest earning it. Skimmers get the point; extractors lift the answer and cite the page.

Headings should be questions people actually ask

Write headings in the language of the question and answer them in the first sentence below.

Verifiable always

Our house rule: no revenue, funding, user or conversion figure without verified written approval. The most quotable sentence is the one that survives fact-checking.

Freshness is a ranking factor you control

Put plain publish and update dates on everything and revisit quarterly. One living page beats five dead ones.
